Now this is a Hong Kong style cafe! You’ll find everything you could want from this style of restaurant on the menu. I was very impressed with the selection, quality, and fun additions that they had. My personal favorite has to be the cute animal ice sculptures in some of the drinks!

If you’re in the mood for some Southern style food, The Porch will have it. However, be prepared to open up that wallet as this restaurant does have a higher price tag than most.

Burly’s is an incredible place to go for a drink afterwork or for an outrageously delicious vegan meal. This place seriously surprised me with the quality offerings that they have. The only thing that may hold you back is the old sketchy neighborhood where it is at… just come when the sun’s out!

Canon is a high-end restaurant located in East Sacramento. The dishes are thoughtfully put together and the staff is top notch. There is a lot to love about Canon, but make sure your bank account is ready for prices that reflect the amount of care put into the food here.

So there’s a place in the Sacramento area that you can actually get beef wellington at! Q1227 is a restaurant that serves up high-end southern comfort food with unique twists. The price may be high, but so is the quality of what you get.

Shake Shack is a famous burger chain with locations in big cities all over the United States. There is one in Sacramento at the Ice Blocks. I’ll let you know if it’s worth the visit!

The Oyster Bar is a relatively unique concept for Sacramento. Oysters are the main draw, but if you love seafood, there are plenty of menu items that should intrigue you! If you don’t like seafood - you may want to pass on by as there is very little aside from seafood.

Happy Mochi has got you covered if you’re looking to get a delicious mochi donut, savory corndog, or a refreshing boba drink. You’ll definitely find the pink interior of the restaurant a sight to behold!

Cafe Bernardo is a local restaurant chain that is located all around Sacramento. They offer a beautiful dining area with a lot of great items to choose from on their menu. Though it looks like a pricey place to eat, the items on the menu are pretty reasonable!

The Morning Fork is one of Sacramento’s favorite old school diners. They serve breakfast and brunch and are always crowded on the weekends. Visit them if you’re looking for a delicious way to start your morning!

West Coast Taco Bar in Elk Grove is the place to get amazing California flavors combined with delicious Mexican food staples. I absolutely loved the amazing flavors and different taco choices they had. You Elk Grovians are a lucky bunch to have such a great restaurant near you!

Kathmandu Kitchen in Davis, Ca is a great choice if you’re looking for an elegant and authentic Nepali/Indian meal. The food comes out fresh and hot and can be any level of spice you’d like! I particularly loved the vegetable samosas they have. They are excellent!

Journey to the Dumpling is one of Elk Grove’s most famous eateries. You’ll find delicious soup dumplings as well as a variety of other Chinese dishes there. Be prepared to make an online reservation if you want to go as the wait can be a long one!
