The Burger Saloon

The Burger Saloon in Woodland is a restaurant that serves up a tasty burger… and it really should with a name like that! The Burger Saloon has a number of specialty burgers to choose from, and the restaurant is spacious and includes a full bar. There’s plenty to choose from on the Saloon menu, so no matter what you’re feeling like, there’s probably something that’s interest you. The only thing to be wary of here is that the restaurant can get packed as it is a popular place to eat amongst the locals. So make sure you come early to beat the rush!

The Burger Saloon boasts of over 30 burgers to choose from on their website. And looking at the menu, there are a number of standouts. The Black & Bleu is a burger that features cajun blackened seasoning, bleu cheese crumbles, onion, relish, oven roasted tomatoes, and a spicy aioli. One of my favorite things in a burger is bleu cheese, and in combination with the special cajun seasoning… this burger is a winner for me! I just love the punch of savory flavor that the cheese provides! That along with the charred burger meat is heavenly.

Another standout is the Pb&J. And yes, Pb does stand for peanut butter, but the j is for fried jalapenos. This crazy sounding burger might sound over the top, but I have found peanut butter to be a great ingredient in burgers. If you haven’t had that before, I’d highly recommend giving it a try before passing judgement. This may just surprise you!

For those with a more refined sense of taste, you might be interested in the Bistro burger that features brie and a fried egg, the Butcher’s Block that includes pastrami, black forest ham, bacon, and Swiss & cheddar, or the Sophisticate with roasted garlic, oven roasted tomatoes, and baby spinach.

Whatever burger you’re feeling like, whatever mood you’re in, there’s a burger here that should meet you where you are!

And when the burger gets to you, you’ll find it typically with a knife through it to keep the whole thing together. On the side will be the veg that you can place inside yourself once you are ready for it.

Sides at the Burger Saloon include a variety of toppings on fries, onion rings, and chicken wings. If you’re a fan of sweet potato fries, they have them here. And best yet, if you for some reason want half of each, they can do that for you!

For the veggie fans in the house, The Burger Saloon offers a nice selection of salads. These salads come in two sizes depending on how hungry you are. I found that the smaller size makes for a nice meal. Pair that up with the soup of the day and you’ll be pretty full after you finish it all.

For sharing, you can select appetizers like deep-fried pickle chips, buffalo chicken lettuce cups, southwest egg rolls, and even deep fried cauliflower. As I stated before, the menu is quite large so there will definitely be something that will catch your eye.

Burgers here will set you back from $12-$17, with many of the starters, salads, and other items being around that same price range as well.

The people of Woodland seem to love the Burger Saloon. If you’re in town and looking to dine, The Burger Saloon is a solid option.
