Teaspoon

Teaspoon is seriously one of the absolute best boba places in town when it comes to quality. The menu is full of crafted drinks that are created to be enjoyed just as they are - with newly introduced drinks each moth.

That being said, the drinks are not as customizable as some other milk tea places. For instance, most places allow a sweetness adjustment on any drink they serve. At Teaspoon, there are only some drinks where you can adjust the sweetness. Just keep this in mind as you order so you’re not too surprised if a certain adjustment cannot be made.

My favorite drink from Teaspoon is the Taro milk tea. The drink is smooth with a taro taste that isn’t powdery. The taro drink typically comes with fresh chunks of taro on the bottom, but I typically opt for the almond pudding to go in instead.

Teaspoon has a number or teas as well as fruitier and coffee drinks. The ingredients are fun, and I find myself constantly taking longer than I usually do to decide on which drink to get. Since that’s the case I typically leave the store with two just because I couldn’t make up my mind.

The Davis Teaspoon location is very small. As of this review, there is still a sign up on the door that states only a maximum number of 4 people can be inside at a time to order. It’s hasn’t been uncommon to wait outside the door in a line because of this stipulation.

If you’d like your order to be ready sooner and skip the line, Teaspoon encourages you to download their app and order from there.

No matter what you order, the drink will have the taste and feel of something that is of the highest quality. Teaspoon is right there with the best boba places in town, so give it a try if you haven’t yet!
