K Town

K Town is an impressive restaurant that combines a number of popular Asian styles of dining. For a set price of around $30 for an adult, you can enjoy all that K Town has to offer. Select from sushi, hot pot, Korean BBQ, and even some traditional Chinese style dinner items. It’s quite a lot and a pretty solid value for the money.

Apparently, K Town does not take reservations (at the time of this review), so my party had to show up and wait for a table. The wait was about 30-minutes during a peak dining hour. There were a number of other parties also waiting to get in as this restaurant is pretty popular.

I personally feel that the wait was worth it. K Town has so much to offer! When you are seated, you are given the choice of what sort of hot pot broth you’d like. There are many options - from a mild and creamy one to spicy styles. And that great thing is you can switch it up whenever you like! They’ll just change out your pot when you want to try another flavor.

As you allow your hot pot to heat, head over to the buffet section where you can pick out whatever meat and veggie options you’d like. The meat is plentiful and it ranges from seafood, to chicken, to pork/beef. They even have whole steaks you can bring back to grill. It’s pretty incredible.

While you’re at it, there are hot food items like chicken wings, egg rolls, and rice that you can help yourself too - not to mention another section full of sushi.

The hot food and sushi isn’t the best you’ve ever had, but keep in mind that this is more of a buffet style restaurant, so you can’t expect the finest when it comes to individual dishes.

When you return to your table, the hot pot should be good to go and you can fire up the grill. Just put all the hot pot ingredients in the bowl for a while and you’ll end up with a savory and delicious soup. As that’s being made you can grill up all the meat that you desire.

My advice is to pace yourself as the entire experience can be a bit overwhelming at first. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the meal and the company of the people you go with.

In terms of the service, I found that the wait staff were great. They were very helpful whenever a question came up and were happy to explain how everything worked. Kudos to them!

K Town is a fun time and one that will fill you to the brim. I’d certainly recommend this restaurant for the great experience and delicious food options.
