Burger Lounge

The Burger Lounge is a restaurant that specializes in grass-fed, premium burgers that taste great and deliver a satisfying eating experience. It’s a chain that’s newer to the Sacramento area, but locations can be found all around California. If you’d like to pay a visit to Burger Lounge, you’ll find one at the Downtown Commons as well as a location in Roseville.

The first thing that you’ll notice about the Burger Lounge is how modern its aesthetic is. These restaurants are furnished beautifully with a mixture of natural elements and modern appointments. The use of their brand colors of orange, green, and white work very well with the wood textures they have gone with. The restaurants are bright and welcoming. Speaking of welcoming, I felt that the on-site staff were very friendly and courteous. They were all smiles and patient as I perused the menu for what I wanted to order.

The Burger Lounge has done an excellent job in creating an atmosphere that you’d like to dine in.

With a name like Burger Lounge, it’s a no-brainer that the main item on the menu is the burger. And of course that’s the case here. The main burgers on the menu are the Lounge Burger (their standard burger with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and their 1000 island sauce), The Husky (basically a double patty Lounge burger), The “Classic” (a burger with American cheese, ketchup, mustard, onion, and pickles), and the “Son of a Butcher” (a burger featuring caramelized onions on the top). If you’d like a burger without the bun, you can order their paleo burger that features a patty on lettuce with bacon, grilled zucchini, grilled tomato, avocado, and daikon sprouts on the top.

I had the Lounge Burger on my visit and it was excellent. At first I thought the bun may have been too much, but biting into it, the bun turned out to be pillowy soft with a smooth textures that was very easy to eat. It combined perfectly with the hamburger patty and accompanying veg and sauces. This burger immediately impressed me. It was savory and fresh all at once with the tangy sauce binding the entire burger together. I would absolutely come here again and again as these burgers are top notch!

If you’d rather have something other than beef, the Burger Lounge offers a turkey burger, a grilled fish sandwich, and a fried fish sandwich. For chicken sandwich lovers, there are three variations to select from including a crispy buffalo style sandwich. The variety is certainly here with a sandwich for just about anybody. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that there are also plant based burgers as well. As is the trend nowadays, if you want to go completely meatless… you can!

To go with your sandwich you can order their fresh cut fries or onion rings. If you can’t decide on one, just get the half and half! It’s right on the menu! The half and half is exactly what it says, a half order of fries with a half order of onion rings. It’s perfect for any diner who wants to have a little bit of both. Both the fries and rings here are excellent. The rings dipped with ranch are absolutely heavenly.

To wash everything down you can go big with either their real milk shakes or dairy-free ones, but I always just get a fountain soda as that’s my jam. To my surprise, the Burger Lounge features a fountain that has craft sodas in it! The sodas on tap are of the premium variety. I especially like the ginger soda as it has quite the bite to it! You’ve been warned!

I am a fan of the Burger Lounge and I would happily come to this restaurant for a great lunch or dinner. If your’e at DOCO to catch a movie or a Kings game, consider visiting this restaurant as it is well worth the visit.

The Burger Lounge has a simple concept that is executed perfectly. There is a lot of care that goes into each of their food items. I’d suggest checking out their website to find out how they source their ingredients. They really do go all out to make theirs stand above the rest.
