Paris Baguette Bakery Café
Paris Baguette Bakery Café is a chain of high quality bakeries, and fortunately for us in Sacramento, we have one in town! If you’ve ever been to an 85°C Bakery, you’ll be familiar with this style of ordering and selecting your food items.
When you come in you’ll see a tray with tongs for you to take. Grab both those items and head over to where the baked goods are. You simply use the tongs to get the items you want and put them on your tray. Pick whatever you like and however much you like. When you’re done, just bring the tray to the cashier and they’ll ring you up. If you’d like any of their cakes or drinks that are available, you can make that order with the cashier as you check out.
You can’t help but to compare Paris Baguette to 85°C Bakery Cafe as they are so similar in style and operation. Both restaurants have bakery items displayed in the same way and both have drink items and cakes for you to order. I would go out on a limb and say that my preference is for Paris Baguette.
I was simply stunned at the delicate quality their pastries had. The pastries all were light tasting and just made you want to eat more and more. The pastry cream that they use is particularly amazing. I’ve never had a creme like this one before. Again, light, would be the best word to describe how it is. The flavor is tastefully sweet and the texture is airy. Just give me a huge bowl of it and a spoon and I’d be in heaven.
The restaurant itself also has a beautiful interior that is great to visit and hang out at. The booths’ seats were actually little couches. There was also a large community table with gorgeous lighting above to sit with friends at. I could see this as a great place to study at or bring friends to relax and chat.
Paris Baguette gets an easy recommendation from me. I can’t wait to go back and grab more of those pastries!

Make sure you bring enough back home for the entire family to enjoy. I packed a couple boxes to go and they literally all disappeared within a day! The family loved the delicious pastries from Paris Baguette!
