Falafel Corner

If you’re craving some Mediterranean style food, Falafel Corner is one of the best places to fill that itch. Falafel Corner offers up very flavorful meals that will definitely fill you up. The portions here are generous and I’ve always left feeling very satisfied after a meal. There are a number of Falafel Corner locations around Sacramento, but the Natomas one is my go-to spot. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating with friendly and fast service.

My absolute favorite dish is the combo platter. It’s a huge plate of food that comes with chicken, gyro, salad, rice, salata, tzatziki, hummus, and pita bread. All the flavors and textures on this massive plate of food meld together perfectly and I enjoy each and every bite from it. It’s great to enjoy the parts individually or in combination with each other. The whole thing is a harmonious blend that I find hard to beat.

If you’d just like either chicken or gyro, there is are platters that just feature those items individually. And for those who want it meatless, you can get the same but with falafel rather than the meat options.

If your choice of meal is a wrap, you can select the same chicken, gyro, or combination version. I’d go for the wrap if you’re looking for a similar flavor profile as a platter but aren’t as hungry. A Philly wrap is also on the menu that takes inspiration from a Philly cheese steak. This wrap has either chicken or gyros along with bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese.

I typically don’t go for the burgers when I come here, but there are a number of burgers you can select from. The most intriguing of the burger options is what they call the Badmash (Gangster) Burger. It is a VERY hefty burger that contains two Harris Ranch Premium beef patties, melted Swiss and cheddar, egg, bacon, mayo, pickles, onions, pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce all within grilled brioche buns. This things sounds lavish! I’m pretty intimidated by it, and probably wouldn’t order it, but I’d definitely want to try it if a friend got one!

If these main dishes don’t quite do it for you, you can always have some appetizers on the side. They have chicken wings, dolma, Philly fries, and quesadillas. Any of these items would really put your meal over the top.

I’d definitely recommend a visit to the Falafel Corner. They simply deliver flavorful dishes that will satisfy your hunger. Just writing about them makes me want to go back and get a combo platter!
